Exclusive barnwood panel material in unique colors and textures. That is our barnwood oak panel material “Insides” and “Outsides”. Decades of old oak beams & planks are sawn to produce old oak veneer. The “Outsides” panel is a furniture panel made of only the original outer top layer, this top layer has weathered & colored beautifully through decades of use and exposure to the influences of nature! The veneer strips that follow the outer top layer of an old oak beam are also beautiful. These top layers do have the color of oak, but often show traces of nails, black stripes, and weathered knots. These are our “Insides” furniture panels.

Production of veneer panels from old oak wood

After numerous machine operations and a correct sorting of suitable reclaimed veneer, the top layers are made to thickness and glued to a core of birch plywood. The panel is provided with reclaimed oak veneer on one side and with European rustic oak on the other side. By providing both sides of the panel with veneer, a stable panel is created that is suitable for many interior applications! We can custom produce these plates for you in larger quantities, which often saves you a lot of unnecessary waste. We also produce door panels, which we cover on both sides with reclaimed oak veneer.
